Charlie Roderson was my father's best friend until the day he died. They started at Raytheon-Lowell back in the 50s. Charlie was on the board in Rainbow Lowell Assembly #42 (I was a member) with my own dad. Virginia and Charlie Roderson used to watch 4th of July parades with my family. Relationships between my family and his was way more than professional.
My father almost died from a heart attack the same day that Charlie died...it was the eve of Thanksgiving.
