Terri's Little Brother Fred and I were Grade school friends (different grade schools). Our friendship continued into high school. Fred went to Marshal & I went to Howe, hanging out became less frequent but we still did some of it. The friendship began thanks to our 3rd pal Steve C who introduced us. All three of us had dirt bikes, and loved to go to booker's world track. once Fred set up a great weekend for us via his uncle. His uncle had a farm, with trees, wooded area and a creek. My dad took us and our cycle there with a tent and dumped us out for 2 -3 days. It was an incredibly fun weekend
I'm not sure if Terri actually was fond of me but I think so. Steve and I would go to Fred's house & help/watch Fred and Fred Senior work on Fred's 'Cuda. That last time there There were installing Fred's Hertz shifter (popular at the time).
Terri was there. She was a very attractive young lady & I'm sure she had boyfriends at John Marshal , but she gave me attention which I appreciated given my insecurities at the time!
She frequently told me I looked like Rod Stewart ..one of her favorites at the time ... so I had that going for me!!
It is sad that as we grow up, some people we care about fade away just because we all go in our own direction, but Terri, Fred Jr & Senior .. the whole Heichelbech family were a fun chapter & enjoyable memory of my early life.
